Being sensitive to others, the positive side:

  • Are you sensitive to the moods and feelings of others?
  • Can you give space to others?
  • Can you perform well under stress?
  • Can you make a 100% commitment to something and achieve a lot?
  • Are you loyal?
  • Do you always give people a new chance?
  • Are you intuitive?
The above are powerful and beautiful properties

But sometimes these properties become unbalanced, for example:

  • If you adjust so much, you won't get what you need.
  • If you're a people-pleasant guy but you often forget yourself.
  • If sometimes you don't feel heard or seen, but you don't say that.
  • If you have patience with others, but are too critical to yourself.
  • If you're so loyal, you don't set healthy limits.
  • If you give others all the space, but less yourself.
  • If you don't think you're good enough.
  • If you're afraid of conflict, rejection or anger from others.
  • If you don't say what you want because you're afraid of rejection or you feel guilty.
  • If you have in mind often dialogues where you have to deal with other people's reactions.

What can I offer?

First of all, I want to let you know that you are welcome to a (free) introduction. Because having a familiar feeling / click is the basis when you start to change and therapy.

Then I'd like to hear your story and your background. It's called your hampered intake. .
This will also identify your questions and needs.

Based on this, I make a treatment plan that we look at together and optimise.

Many treatments are short-lived, then we run relatively short together to get insights and so you can make new choices yourself.

Sometimes it can also be nice to meet and stand together for a long time.

We'll follow what feels right to you.

In both cases, we regularly evaluate whether you achieve what you want to achieve and what feels good about sessions.

During the sessions

In content there is always room for you to tell how things are going, what you are doing inside. So we can explore together what's at the heart of your problems and patterns.

Transactional Analysis and EMDR can be very nice to use. See tabs Transaction Analysis and EMDR for more background on this.

When you begin to understand your own complaints, you become expert in your own thinking, feeling and doing. In addition, you can process important moments or situations in your life with EMDR.

This will then allow growth and development. This way you can eventually create balance again. You will experience peace and trust in yourself and your life.

Review of Menno

Michelle is the specialist in TA (Transactional Analysis) which has been extremely helpful to me. It's been a couple of years since Michelle really helped me out, at a point in my life where I was stuck. And to this day, a real and very positive life-changer! Later on in the course together with Michelle a successful EMDR performed and I am very professionally supervised in this. A sincere recommendation...

Review of HS.

After two burnouts due to work and personal circumstances I came to Michelle and what a relief. My story can tell without comment or criticism, but with a listening ear and understanding remarks. Michelle can explain how relationships within families work and how to deal with them. And that also extends to work situations. My nervous system has calmed down and I have been given handles how to deal with certain situations. I have my inner peace again thanks to Michelle.

Michelle is a very warm and involved psychologist who is really standing next to you. She listens well, is clear and comes to the core quickly. Together, you make a concrete plan that lets you know what you're working on. No unnecessary long journeys, but targeted and effective. Absolutely recommended.

Review of Marloes

Michelle helped me a lot when I was in a relationship that wasn't right for me. I saw the red flags, but I couldn't find anything. She gave me insight into his patterns, but especially into mine. By drawing this out/writing and supporting it with theory I became increasingly clear that only I could leave this relationship and that I deserve much more! I finally did. Besides, I always felt completely safe with her. Could tell her everything and there was also time for a joke in between. Be very grateful to her for everything she's done.

Review of B.

I experience Michelle's guidance as extremely pleasant and extremely valuable.
She gives me the confidence and the space to open myself up. She really sees and hears me, she explains patterns well and she thinks with me. Even when help from a different angle seems more appropriate. Her interest in me feels sincere and honest, not because it's her job. I am very grateful for the safe space she creates and can certainly recommend her if you are looking for an expert therapist with a big warm heart who is professionally close.

Review by Kirsten

Michelle helped me to learn to listen to my body and my feelings again. Her warmth, purity and sincere commitment made me feel, despite the tension with which I entered the conversations at the beginning, increasingly safer and able to open myself slowly. Through her guidance and the transactional analysis I was able to meet my inner child again and I learned to make more choices from my adult self that are good for me. My friend regularly joined the conversations, which has been very valuable to us as well as to me. I admire the way Michelle not only guides, but also how she is in life. Thanks to her, I live closer to myself and finally allow my feelings the space they always deserved. I'd like to see someone like Michelle beside him.
