About me

About me

Who I am

I, too, know how much life can change when you truly get to know yourself and start living from a place of 'gentleness' with yourself. I am someone who deeply values self-reflection, mindfulness, and personal growth. And that is exactly how I work: from a place of calm, curiosity, and without judgment.

Educational Background

I studied psychology at the University of Groningen. It focused mainly on CGT: cognitive behavioral therapy and scientific research. As a result, I registered AGB, and I joined professional associations NVPA and RBCZ. And I follow the guidelines like the law CHPGZ and the GDPR.

But I felt like something was missing; I wanted to specialise further in understanding and healing deeper, underlying patterns. That is why I went on to study Transactional Analysis (psychotherapy). TA felt like a home coming!

I'll explain more about this under the tab Transactional Analysis.

I also use various trauma-oriented techniques. Especially EMDR, because it is a gentle way to help your body realise that you are now safe to grow out of your old patterns. Read more.

You may slow down internally and live from your heart.

Back to your own nature

I have lived in different countries for eight years. Especially Ireland and Scotland attracted me very much. I loved the rugged nature, the power of the elements, the wild rivers and forests, and the splendor of true winters. But it also means I know what it is like to be in a different culture, with all the feelings and challenges that come with it.
It helped me grow and become who I truly am. And I still create my life today, as it feels deeply right to me and my family.

Coming back (or coming home) to yourself and who you really are can change your whole life.
It will give you inner freedom. You get the opportunity and the space to create your life as you choose.
And I believe that if you make choices in that calm, gentle and conscious way from within, it makes the world a more beautiful and authentic place.

I welcome you, exactly as you are.

The foundation for change lies within your relationship with yourself

You may get to know, accept, and—yes!—love yourself for who you are. Because embracing your true self is your path to a life of inner power, calm, and feeling deeply grounded in your own identity. If you want to explore how I can guide you along the way, I welcome you exactly as you are.
